Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect your email, the room photos you upload, and the images we create from them. We use them only to run the service. Photos are deleted automatically after 30 days. Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your card number. We don't sell your information.
This policy explains how SaaSsee LLC ("Virtual Staiging," "we," "us") handles information when you use virtualstaiging.com (the "Service"). If you have questions, email hello@virtualstaiging.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Email address. Used to create your account and send you sign-in links.
- Photos you upload. Room photos you submit for staging. Please don't upload photos that show people, personal documents or other private information.
- Messages. Anything you send us by email.
Information created when you use the Service
- Staged images and room details. The images we generate, plus a short description of each room (room type, lighting, features to keep) and a list of furniture items for the shopping list.
- Account activity. Your credit balance, plan, and which photos and images belong to your account.
- Payment records. When you buy credits or a plan, Stripe tells us the purchase succeeded and gives us a customer ID. We do not receive or store your card number.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic request logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested). We also keep a daily count of requests per IP address, stored in a scrambled (hashed) form, to prevent abuse.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: analyze and stage your photos, show results, and build shopping lists.
- To run your account: sign you in, track credits and plans, and process purchases.
- To keep the Service safe and working: prevent abuse, fix errors and improve results.
- To communicate with you: sign-in emails, purchase-related messages and replies to your questions. We don't send marketing emails unless you ask for them.
Who we share information with
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Anthropic (Claude AI): receives your uploaded photo and staged images to describe the room and list furniture items.
- Google (Gemini AI): receives your uploaded photo and staging instructions to create staged images.
- Stripe: processes payments and subscriptions. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the information you give it at checkout.
- Our web host (Namecheap): stores the website, database, photos and email.
- Google Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google, which receives your IP address when fonts are downloaded.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
Amazon affiliate links
Shopping links on the Service go to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. When you click one of these links, Amazon may set cookies or collect information under its own privacy policy. We don't receive your identity or what you buy, only reports of total sales.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It contains a random code, not your personal details, and lasts up to 30 days or until you sign out. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics or ads in the future, we'll update this policy first.
How long we keep information
- Uploaded photos and staged images: deleted automatically about 30 days after they are created. Download anything you want to keep.
- Account information: kept while your account exists. Ask us and we'll delete it.
- Payment records: kept as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes.
- Sign-in links expire after 20 minutes and are removed within a day.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to delete your account, by emailing hello@virtualstaiging.com from the address on your account. We'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Union), you may have additional rights, and we will honor them as the law requires. Deleting your account removes any remaining credits.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), keep secret keys off the public website, store sign-in codes in scrambled form, and use single-use, expiring sign-in links. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you, as required by law.
Children
The Service is not intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the date at the top, and if the changes are significant we'll let account holders know by email or on the site.
